Aligning images in Pelican

I’ve tried some ways over the last days to align images in articles using pelican. It seems to be one of the things the easy markup languages left out of the syntax. At least to my knowledge.

AsciiDoc has the simple alignment of an image. That is putting it left, centered or right. But they seem as well be missing text floating around the image.

So my solution is the fallback to HTML, which is kind of annoying as one then can write the entire article in HTML ;-)

<div style="text-align: left; float: right;"><img src="{filename}/images/imagename.png"></div>

is the code to have the image aligned at the left side, with the text floating around on the right.
